Quote to Consider:
Matthew Henry on Judges 20:26-48: “It is easy likewise to improve it for warning against the beginnings of sin: they are like the letting forth of water, therefore leave it off before it be meddled with, for we know not what will be in the end thereof. The eternal ruin of souls will be worse, and more fearful, than all these desolations of a tribe. This affair of Gibeah is twice spoken of by the prophet Hosea as the beginning of the corruption of Israel and a pattern to all that followed (Hos. 9:9): ‘They have deeply corrupted themselves as in the days of Gibeah;’ and (Hos. 10:9), ‘Thou hast sinned from the days of Gibeah;’ and it is added that the battle in Gibeah against the children of iniquity did not (that is, did not at first) overtake them.”

Encouraging Quotes:
“I just wanted to tell you how great your YouTube channel is. I just recently saw all of your videos on ‘The 4 Horsemen of Revelation 6’ and I must say your interpretation of that is dead on! I just want to thank you for pursuing the truth!”- California, USA
“The question of common grace concerns me greatly. Your treatment of it from the Psalms in the Covenant Reformed News was encouraging and helpful, and fitted in with what I am reading in Prof. Engelsma’s The Reformed Faith of John Calvin: The Institutes in Summary. I look forward to the next CR News.”
– West Midlands, England
“… the latest picture of the church building is very nice. It’s exciting to see the progress that has been made; not long and it’ll be finished, DV. I saw the sermon ‘Believer’s Children and Their Baptism’ on YouTube this afternoon. I loved it!! It explained and made the whole thing crystal clear to me. It was an eye-opener so to speak. I’m so glad that I understand a bit more of God’s Word now and this always makes me extremely happy! … Stephen has already put part 4 from Judges 20 on-line. Have to watch that!” – Germany
“I was on YouTube today listening to quite a few of your sermons and was greatly blessed by them. There is one in particular that really impressed me. It was entitled ‘Calvin vs. Darwin: Anniversaries, Origins and Worldviews’ …” – Co. Antrim
“Watched the YouTube presentation on Calvinism vs. Arminianism. I have been studying Calvinism for a little while … and I just wanted to say I appreciate your thoughts and how they confirmed my own on the sovereignty of God. Thanks for your representation of the Word of God.” – Utah, USA
“Please find enclosed by cheque for Come Out From Among Them. I look forward to receiving it. Thank you for providing this service at such a reasonable cost. I am looking at Calvin’s Anti-Nicodemite writings for my BA dissertation.”
– London, England
“Many thanks for the latest newsletter which carries such a wealth of interesting information and news of progress in the Lord’s work in N. Ireland as well as in Limerick. Back in 2002, the devil thought he had killed the true church of God but once again he has been found to have failed, for the Lord of glory is still on His throne and all that He ordains does come to pass, including the efforts and continuing defeats of Satan. We rejoice with you in all of the fruits of your labours in His name and pray that these will continue to appear as your work also goes forward.” – New Zealand
“[Prof. Dykstra’s] sermon on ‘The Coming of Scoffers in the Last Days’ is relevant here in the Philippines because in our country Pelagianism, Semi-Pelagianism and Arminianism scoff at the true church which preaches the sovereign grace of God and the amillennial position of a Reformed church. May the Lord God use His gospel in the midst of scoffers and false teachers through the faithful ministers of God’s Word.” – Philippines
“Just a note to thank you for continuing to send the Covenant Reformed News regularly. Please accept this small donation as a thank you.” – West Sussex, England
“Wow, the building is really coming along! Can’t wait to see it finished! I’m finishing up the ‘Most Avoided Chapter in the Bible’ series on election and reprobation. What a wonderful yet humbling doctrine of our great God. Thanks and may the Lord bless!” – Wisconsin, USA
“We are writing to you for the purpose of conveying our genuine gratitude for your great kindness in sending to us not only the hardback edition of the Three Forms of Unity and the accompanying creeds of the PRC, plus the two cassettes and sundry magazines, but also that second more recent mailing with sundry enclosures and divers magazines including the Standard Bearer and Beacon Lights and most exciting of all an edition of a Puritan magazine written in Portuguese … Already I have been fascinated by certain articles in the Standard Bearer …” – Middlesex, England
“We have been so blessed by your easy-to-use website. In the past few months I have been systematically going through all your sermon series and single sermons, one by one. They keep me company (great company) during the day when I am cooking, doing housework or paying bills.” – New Jersey, USA
“… I was struck by the doctrines of grace two years ago, even if I have been a Christian for 21 years. It has been so strong that I even question my conversion 21 years ago! I want to take a couple of minutes to thank you for your apologetics. It is so important. Even though God is sovereign, it does not take off the responsibility we have to tell the whole truth, which we see is often now days diluted or even kept aside by the evangelicals!” – Quebec, Canada
“… Our Bible study group has received so many of your sermons (all those that we have listened to) with great joy. As we still have many short-comings, your teachings have been a bright ray of light for us. Time and time again you bring God’s teachings forth in a clear and understandable manner. No frills, no fuss; just the Truth. We are currently going through your series on ‘Christ’s High-Priestly Prayer.’” – South Africa
