Quote to Consider:

Jonathan Edwards: “When the apostles and others of their day died and went to heaven, they left all their miraculous gifts behind them with their bodies. But they did not leave the love that was in their hearts behind them, but carried that with them to heaven, where it was gloriously perfected … And at the end of the world, when the church of Christ shall be settled in its last, and most complete, and its eternal state, and all common gifts, such as convictions and illuminations, and all miraculous gifts, shall be eternally at an end, yet then divine love shall not fail, but shall be brought to its most glorious perfection in every individual member of the ransomed church above. Then, in every heart, that love which now seems as but a spark, shall be kindled to a bright and glowing flame, and every ransomed soul shall be as it were in a blaze of divine and holy love, and shall remain and grow in his glorious perfection and blessedness through all eternity!” (Charity and its Fruits, pp. 314-315).

Encouraging Quotes

“I am profiting greatly—and may the Lord get all the praise!—from the CPRF pamphlets and books (including Reformed Dogmatics, Doctrine According to Godliness, Harbach on Genesis, etc.). I find them so profitable I’m having a book sale of all the Wesley rubbish …” – Suffolk, England

“Many thanks for the trouble you and Mary have taken to bring such sound preaching to us here in Limerick over a lengthy time. May the Lord continue to bless your work.” – Limerick, Rep. of Ireland

“We send you our grateful thanks for being so willing to come over to Wales month by month and strengthen and encourage us by your faithful ministry of God’s Word and all the helpful literature that you so kindly bring with you and tapes etc. each time for our benefit and encouragement.” – South Wales

“I have two reasons for contacting you. One in praise of the website … I came across your website while looking at Christian internet sites and am impressed by the firmness of your views and opinions and you appear to be someone who has a grasp of issues …” – United Kingdom

“This is just to say a very big thanks for sending me a copy of The Momentous Event. It arrived very quickly in the post. I appreciate receiving a copy and have been able to have a quick look through its contents. It’s very interesting … May the Lord richly bless your ministry there in Northern Ireland.” – France

“Thank you for the books safely received today. They are to be a birthday present for my husband as he enjoys the writings of Herman Hoeksema” – Lincolnshire, England

“It was very good of you to send me the Psalm CDs. They were safely received today. They are really appreciated—beautiful. Far more beautiful than any man-made hymns … I was very impressed while on your site last night to hear how you responded in a radio interview about Mel Gibson’s film … I also did some reading while there. Would you have any objection to me forwarding your site url to contacts?” – Co Armagh, N. Ireland

“I have found the sermon series on ‘Christian Love’ profitable; this subject is so much abused today.” – Warwickshire, England

“I’m delighted to see that Prof. Engelsma’s paper on the Reformed world view is available in booklet form. I would be grateful if you could send me copies. It is an excellent paper …” – Cornwall, England

“I have just finished listening to your audio tape message ‘Christianity versus Idolatry’ and I am interested in finding out whether you offer that message in audio tape or audio CD for purchase. I live in Bermuda and I am very much interested in purchasing 35 copies of that audio taped message if you make them available.” – Bermuda

“Thank you for the book, The Momentous Event. Much appreciated. I would like the book Ruth, the Divinely Chosen Moabitess by John A. Heys” – Hampshire, England

“Thanks for the prompt service and response, and please accept this contribution towards defraying the expenses [for the Psalm CDs].” – South Wales

For Thy Truth’s Sake certainly is a good read. My immediate reaction was to think, ‘Here we go again—another book I can’t put down!’ References in the book lead on to other books and so would you please send to me Prof. H. C. Hoeksema’s The Doctrine of Scripture.” – Warwickshire, England

“I appreciate the sermons on the Protestant Reformed Churches’ website very much. So much good biblical teaching is so easily made available, especially the MP3 files. Thank you for your input and your sound biblical expositions. Thank you also for sending the Covenant Reformed News by snail mail. I have often wondered if I should cancel this as you send them by e-mail. However, so often it comes in the mail with other information which I would not have liked to miss out on, such as the information on the ‘Devotionals for the New Year.’” – France

“I did listen to your defence of Exclusive Psalmody against Mr. Foster and I was thankful you took this position and presented it well. Bless you for this. The Lord be with you and prosper your labour in the cause of our Covenant God.”– South Wales

“Last week we had the delightful request for a set of your taped sermons on Jehoshaphat … The lady expressed great interest in what we have in the Tape Library, so we got to some really good talking on spiritual matters … [She asked] for Jehoshaphat as a starter and one of the BRF Family Conference speeches from 2002, so I am delighted and know that you will rejoice with us …” – New Zealand
