Quotes to Consider:
John Gill on Isaiah 63:7: “… the gifts of grace are bestowed, not according to the merits of men, for then they would not be free grace gifts; and, besides, there is no merit in a creature; the best works of the best of men are not meritorious, of anything at the hand of God; but all they have flow from mere sovereign mercy, pure grace, and free unmerited love, which is abundant, yea, boundless, and even infinite. A heap of words is here made use of, and all little enough to express the wonderful kindness of God in the acts of his grace and goodness to his church and people; which ought always to be had in sight and mind, and to be remembered and spoken of in private and in public.”

Encouraging Quotes:
“It is always very encouraging to read your news and bulletins. I pray that the Lord will continue to bless your ministry. Now the book The Work of the Holy Spirit is so interesting to me that I cannot stop myself asking you for it. Will you please send a copy to me? … Right now I am translating Rev. Hanko’s Doctrine According to Godliness …” – Myanmar
“I listened to ‘God’s Nearness,’ your sermon on Jeremiah 23:23. It was so very good. I put a note on it to listen again looking up the references … I am part way through listening to Rev. McGeown’s sermon ‘Dead in Trespasses and Sins’ (Eph. 2:1-3). I will probably finish listening this evening. It is so good to hear him for the first time.” – Yorkshire, England
“The Romans 11 DVDs arrived on Monday and the Romans 9 and Ezekiel DVDs arrived yesterday afternoon. Thank you for your prompt and faithful service … I have watched the first 2 DVDs on Romans 11. It is a pleasure to hear sound understanding of the Word of God. It is truly a rejoicing of the heart … I do praise and thank the Lord greatly that, at last, I am able to hear someone who knows something of the exceeding riches of God’s grace and to see Scriptures expounded to the praise of the glory of God’s grace. May the God of all grace bless you and keep you to will and to do of His good pleasure.” – Australia
“Thank you very much for continuing to send me your Sunday sermons. I really enjoy listening to them. Your sermons on ‘Jerusalem and Antioch’ were a blessing to me as also your teaching on the Belgic Confession.” – Co. Antrim
“Thank you so much for the DVD of ‘Blessed Pilgrims Heading to Zion.’ It was very kind of you to send it and it was a massive blessing to us. We felt as if we were with you. Thank you so much. I would like to order the following free pamphlets …” – South Wales
“Once more I would be delighted to receive the enclosed order … I find the material like sunshine in this dark world.” – Scotland

“I have recently been given a copy of the September 2010 issue of the Covenant Reformed News. I have read it with interest and found it very well written and informative. As a result of this, I have read a number of the previous issues which are available on the CPRC website and I have found them to be in line with my own beliefs regarding God’s Word … I would be grateful if my name could be added to the mailing list. After reading them, I will be eager to pass them on to others …”
– Co. Antrim
“I received yesterday the DVDs of the British Reformed Fellowship Conference held last August which you sent through Rev. Kleyn. Thank you very much. One of our elders will reproduce those DVDs so each family here can have their own copies too. Rev. Smit also plans to show each lecture during our Tuesday night Bible Study starting January, God willing … by 2012 if the Lord would be gracious we can attend the next BRF Conference.” – Philippines

– South Wales
“Just a line to thank you for the latest issue of the CR News. The article on ‘Mount Sinai’ is of particular interest as we’re currently reading Hebrews in one of our Bible study groups … [We] have enjoyed your BRJ series on ‘Calvin vs. Darwin.’ It’s a refreshing antidote to the theistic evolutionism that is now ‘orthodox’ for many ‘evangelicals’ in our area. Much appreciated!” – England
“Mr. McGeown’s article [‘All Means All’] is very enlightening. It is true from Scripture that none can possibly perish for whom Christ made propitiation because He established a righteousness for them which is imputed to them which demands life or immortality consistent with God’s justice and grace (Rom. 1:15-17; Rom. 3 & 4).This is a glorious accomplishment that makes my heart glad.” – Kentucky, USA
