Announcements (subject to God’s will):

The Standard Bearers and Beacon Lights are on the back table. This Standard Bearer is an excellent special issue on the Lord’s Day.

Family visitation begins this week on the theme, “Living as the Body of Christ.” The sermon this evening will be an introduction to this theme. The schedule for visiting is on the back of the bulletin.

May Day Outing: We plan to meet for a picnic at Glenariff Forest Park at 11 AM in the main car park, weather permitting. Sausages and baps will be provided, but bring anything else you may want for lunch. A sign-up sheet is on the table.

Family visitation schedule for this week: Tuesday, 6:30 PM – Reids, 8 PM – Hallidays Wednesday, 7 PM – Buchanans, 8 PM – Crossetts

This week Friday, 11 May, Rev. Stewart will give a lecture on Homosexuality, What Does the Bible Teach? in Ballymena Protestant Hall at 8 PM. We encourage everyone to attend the lecture and remember this witness in prayer.

The Reformed Witness Hour next Lord’s Day, 29 April (8:30-9:00 AM, on Gospel 846MW) is entitled “A Joyful Mother of Children” (Psalm 113:9).

The Annual General Meeting is planned for Wednesday, 16 May, at 7:30 PM at the manse. We would like everyone to attend. A financial report will be given at that time as well as other reports of church activities over the last year. Tea will be provided afterward.

Last Week’s Offerings: General Fund – £551.00. Donations: £100 (building fund).

CPRC Website: 8 new Portuguese translations, mostly excerpts from Hoeksema’s Reformed Dogmatics, have been added as has an Italian translation of “Calvinism … the Truth.” The Croatian Canons of Dordt, which has never been on the web before, is now on-line. PRC News: Prof. Hanko has returned home from hospital and thanks everyone for their prayers and e-mails. Rev. Mahtani’s surgery went as expected, and he is now recuperating at home. Peace PRC called Rev. Slopsema (First, MI). Doon PRC will call a missionary to the Philippines from a trio of Revs. Haak (Georgetown, MI), Koole (Grandville, MI) and VanOverloop (Byron Center, MI).
