Quotes to Consider:

E. J. Young: “… toward the close of the present age the power of the little horn will be manifested. The Antichrist will prevail against the elect of God, becoming ever stronger and stronger. Against him God’s people will not be able to stand. Suddenly however, his power will be cut off, and the Lord Jesus Christ shall return from heaven. The saints who have belonged to the kingdom of the Son of Man (i.e., all who are truly the elect) shall receive this kingdom and possess it eternally. May all who read these lines give diligence to make their calling and election sure” (Daniel, p. 163).

Stuart Olyott: “Daniel 7 means that we are no longer in the dark about the future history of the world. Towards the close of this present age the little horn will appear. The ‘man of sin’ will wage war on God’s people. He will become stronger and stronger, and they will be unable to stand against him. We envisage that organized missionary activity will be crushed, and that the church of God will be broken, destroyed and ruined. Its visible form will disappear” (Dare to Stand Alone, p. 101).

Encouraging Quotes:

“We did find the children’s curriculum [Suffer Little Children and Show Me Thy Ways] very helpful. Thanks a lot!” – Lincolnshire, England

“We have just finished listening to your fourth sermon from the series on Christ’s Melchizedekian Priesthood. Thank you so much for making this series of sermons! We are so uplifted and edified by it all, and have now a much clearer understanding of what Hebrews 7 is all about, and can say that we now have ‘somewhat to answer’ those who are so misled by the foolish dreams of the Jews and of those who follow the error of the Premills and the Reconstructionists. … We rejoice to hear the preaching of the Word in such faithfulness.” – New Zealand

“Greetings from the Philippines. It is with great pleasure to read your view regarding married to an unbeliever … Thanks a lot for giving me a message of encouragement! I just came across your website. Yes, I would like to receive the CR News.”- Philippines

“You’re tapes are worth their weight in gold … May the Lord bless you in your work for Him.” – Lancashire, England

“We are so grateful for your website and ministry! We thought you would like to know of the lives you’re touching, even on other continents … Recently we have come to embrace the doctrines of the reformed faith, though there are no churches or fellow believers in our area … We have been faithfully listening to your teachings each week and are so blessed by your insight. We thank you for making these teachings available and pray the Lord’s blessing upon you!” – Michigan, USA

“We continue to keep up-to-date with all the news at the church and benefit greatly from the tape ministry.” – Londonderry, N. Ireland

“Thank you very much for sending the Zanchius books, it would seem that I have managed to get a few people interested in that great work.” – Suffolk, England

“I have listened to some sermons of your series on Romans 9 yesterday evening, and I am glad to hear that you stand firm on the truth without fear of men. That’s precisely the kind of preaching I couldn’t find … I am exploring your website, and appreciating your doctrinal views, your firmness and precision. To my knowledge, you are a unique voice in the European Reformed field.” – Italy

“I listened to ‘The Covenant with Moses’ which I found was of excellent help. Its a super series. The one on ‘Carnal Christians’ was also very good, very helpful.” – Rep. of Ireland

“I particularly enjoyed your ministry on marriage, divorce, and remarriage in the Covenant Reformed News.” – Channel Islands

“I just wanted to say thank you for this very helpful booklet, ‘The Unconditional Covenant,’ most enlightening. I was aware of NT Wright, and Dunn and company, but totally unaware of Norman Shepherd’s position … Your teaching on marriage too was helpful.” – Staffordshire, England

“I am writing to let you know that I have greatly appreciated many of the articles and quotes found on your website …” – Virginia, USA

“The CR News is such a blessing—easy reading with lots of Scripture references. Your topics have been most interesting, including divorce and separation. Could we have 6 copies to pass out to friends?” – Strathclyde, Scotland

“I am a Christian from Romania who wants to thank you very much for the wonderful preachings that are on the site of the Protestant Reformed Church! I was so blessed to listen to the on-line sermons. In Romania there isn’t any Calvinist church and sometimes I feel isolated but the sermons I hear on your site encourage me very much! Thank you so much for your generous work! The Lord bless you.” – Romania

“I would love to receive the [CR News]. I am fairly new to the Reformed faith, and am a member of a Presbyterian church. When I discovered Rev. Herman Hoeksema’s work, I fell in love with it … and have longed to visit a church in the PRC in America. Unfortunately there are none near where I live …” – Oklahoma, USA

“The [Reformation Issue] of the Standard Bearer is brilliant (and that needs to be spelled in capitals!) … Amongst many other things, I am daily enjoying Herman Hoeksema’s ‘Meditation’ articles from the early volumes of the Standard Bearer, now gratefully owned on the discs you obtained for me. They called Chrysostom the ‘silver tongue.’ What must it have been like to hear H.H. in person!?” – Gloucestershire, England

“I’ve just received a box with excellent literature … I am grateful. May our precious Lord bless you and your ministry.” – Sao Paulo, Brazil
