Announcements (subject to God’s will)

Everyone is welcome to stay for tea after the evening worship service today. Group C on the tea rota will bring sandwiches and biscuits.

We express our sympathy to Sinead on the death of her mother-in-law this past Monday. The funeral was held yesterday. May the Lord uphold and comfort her.

Philip Hall’s term as deacon has expired. Philip has been nominated for an additional 3-year term. A vote by male confessing members to approve/disapprove of this will be held after the evening service on Sunday, 25 September (Church Order 22).

The Tuesday Bible study meets at 11 AM to continue our treatment of Leviticus 15 in connection with our study of the OT ceremonial law.

Belgic Confession Class meets this Wednesday at 7:45 PM to study Article 28 with more on why there is no salvation outside the instituted church.

Ladies Bible Study meets this Friday at 10:30 AM at church to begin a study of Proverbs. Any questions, see Beth.

The Reformed Witness Hour broadcast next Lord’s Day (Gospel 846MW at 8:30 AM) by Rev. Haak is “The Sin of Lukewarmness” (Song 5:1-8).

Next Lord’s Day evening will be a preparatory service with the view to partaking of the Lord’s Supper on the morning of 25 September.

S. Wales Lecture: Rev. Stewart will speak on Friday, 30 September, 7:15 PM on “Are Unbelievers in God’s Image?”

Rev. McGeown will preach in the CPRC on 2 October, while Rev. Stewart is in the LRF.
